Laffmad are a Progressive Punk Rock Band from Huddersfield, our music is somewhere between Yes and Discharge.

Some nice people have said we sound like Rush and XTC, but they’re too kind!

Our sound is powerful but melodic, energetic and playful, peppered with odd chords and off beats.

Major influences include Husker Du, Victims Family and Jethro Tull.

We alternate between playing electric and acoustic guitars or combine the two thus appealing to old ladies and teenage delinquents alike (and hopefully lots of people in between).

We love playing live; we have a good sense of humour and don’t take ourselves too seriously.
